A freind of mine was in a car accident. She wanted to avoid a no insurance ticket, so she presented a copy of an insurance card, the dates were vaild, but the insurance is not in effect due to non-payment. The person she was in the accident with attempted to file on her insurance and of course was told she was not covered during the time of the accident.
